IRNA � The 26th International Qur�an Exhibition opened in Tehran late Saturday with a message from Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani and with the motto of �Qur�an Chandelier of Guidance�.


Ayatollah Sobhani said in his message to the event that Qur�an boasts of unending concepts, as innumerable works have been created inspired by the Holy Book.

Hailing glory of Qur�an, he added that the eternal religion should have an eternal miracle to shine until the Resurrection Day.

Director of the 26th International Qur�an Exhibition Abdolhadi Feqihizadeh told the inaugural ceremony that the exhibition is one of the biggest events in the Islamic world.

The exhibition attracts the attention of the people to Qur�anic activities such as reciting and memorizing the Holy Book, he said, noting that it will also create a trend to nurture talents in the field.

The 26th International Qur�an Exhibition will continue for 17 days.
