The meeting was being held at the request of the Iranian Majlis speaker Ali Larijani, who is also the periodical chairman of Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
Several representatives and lawmakers officials from Iran, Turkey, Afghanistan, Algeria, Azerbaijan Republic, Burkina Faso, Chad, Kuwait, Qatar, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, Mozambique, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Uganda, Senegal were attending in the day-long gathering which was being held at the level of vice speakers of parliament and heads of parliamentary commissions of Muslim countries.
Addressing the gathering, Larijani said US acts on Iran nuclear deal and the Palestine issue will not go unanswered.
"In our opinion, Trump is unable to recognize or make take long-term judgment about his actions," he said, urging the world to react seriously and unanimously against Trumps unwise and wrong measures.
In a meantime, Head of the Inter-Parliamentary Union's (IPU) Palestine Committee told reporters on the sidelines of the meeting that Palestine is the main issue for the Islamic World.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran has put on the agenda reinforcing Islamic Ummah and promoting Muslims status in the world," Jalali said, adding that Iran has spared no efforts to strengthen Muslims and to reduce foreigners penetration.
Also, the secretary general of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah also reacted to Trump's move adding that the US president is set to officially announce his much touted deal of the century within coming weeks.
Nasrallah stated that the deal of century started ever since Trump announced his decision on December 6 last year to recognize Jerusalem al-Quds as Israels capital and relocate the US embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to the occupied city.
Nasrallah added that the Palestinian right of return, which is a cornerstone of the Palestinian cause, will be abolished under the deal and a future Palestinian state could only be established within the Gaza Strip.
The Hezbollah chief noted that some Arab states are inventing religious pretexts to legitimatize Israels occupation of Palestinian lands, stressing that the Riyadh regime is claiming that the occupied territories belong to Israel.
On May 14, the United States has officially announced the opening of its new embassy in Jerusalem al-Quds amid deadly Israeli crackdown on peaceful protests by Palestinians in the occupied territories.
The embassy transfer also took place on the eve of Nakba Day, when Palestinians hold demonstrations to condemn their expulsion by the occupying regime from their homeland and the subsequent creation of the Israeli entity in 1948.
Israel occupied the West Bank and East Jerusalem al-Quds during the Six Day War in 1967. It later annexed East Jerusalem al-Quds in a move not recognized by the international community.
