IRNA - Brigadier Hamad bin Rashid al Balushi, Assistant SAF Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning of Oman visited Supreme National Defense University.


The visit was held on the sidelines of Iran-Oman 14th Joint Military-defensive cooperation committee meeting which started work on Saturady.

Due to the importance of the Persian Gulf, Sea of Oman and the Indian Ocean in maritime economy, during the meeting both sides underlined safeguarding this region.

The Omani delegation will also meet with Iran's Minister of Defense Brigadier General Amir Hatami, Navy Commander Rear-Admiral Hossein Khanzadi and Commander of the navy force of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi.
