IRNA - The Speaker of Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis or Parliament) Ali Larijani arrived at the Hanoi international airports early Monday and was welcomed by a number of Vietnamese parliamentary officials.


Before leaving Tehran for Hanoi, Larijani told reporters that the aim of his two nation tour of Vietnam and Sri Lanka is to expand Iran's cooperation with these two countries in various fields including parliamentary ties.

A number of Iranian Members of Parliament are accompanying Larijani during his trip.
