president.ir- President described the recent currency policy by the government as an important step for decreasing concerns of people, producers and businesspeople and increasing predictability for future planning.

Speaking at the extraordinary meeting of government's economic board for managing currency market on Wednesday, Dr Hassan Rouhani describe transparency as government's main policy and said: "Transparency blocks the base of corruption and this policy is a move towards creating transparency in the currency market".

He also stressed that within the framework of this policy, the price of basic goods and medicine would not increase within the framework and the government has made all the necessary predictions for supporting these goods in order for their price not to increase.

The President also described successful implementation of this policy as an essential national issue and called on all branches and organs to fully cooperate with it.
