TASS- Iranian President Hassan Rouhani welcomed progress in fostering relations with Russia at a meeting with Speaker of Russia�s lower house, the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin on Monday.

"I�m glad that our relations are developing every year," the Iranian president said.

"Relations between our governments are very close," he said. "I�m confident that our parliaments also have this kind of relations."

Volodin arrived in Tehran on an official visit on Monday, during which he is scheduled to meet with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Speaker of Iran�s Majlis (parliament) Ali Larijani and hold a plenary meeting of the Russian-Iranian Business Forum.
