Plane crash reason not clear: Turkish spox

IRNA The reason behind the Turkish plane crash that happened in Iran late on Sunday is still unclear, said Turkey's government spokesman.


'There are some speculations about the crash, but the concrete results are yet to be reached at after the black box decoding,' said Bekir Bozdag.

The private jet plane left Sharjah in the UAE for Istanbul on Sunday night, but crashed with Dorak Anari range of mountains of Kiyar city, in Iran's mountaineous Charmahal-Bakhtiari Province.

All passengers on board and flight attendants were killed in the accident.

An 80-member rescue team, 20 vehicles and 6 ambulances were present in the search operation.

Member families of the victims along with eight-member Turkish technicians arrived in Share-kord airport to assess the accident soon after.

Two flight recorders which were found in the search operation were delivered to police officials who were present at the scene of the accident.

The bodies of the victims of the crash will be delivered to Turkey, as soon as possible, said Governer of Charmahal-Bakhtiari Province Eqbal Abbasi on Monday evening.

Iran Civil Aviation Organization said in an announcement that Iran had not had a request from the plane for emergency landing.
