IRNA � Senior Iranian official rejected reports about cancellation of foreign minister visit to Davos, Switzerland to attend the World Economic Forum, noting that the visit has not been scheduled.


'Mr Zarif decided to stay in Tehran,' Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi said on Monday, noting that the Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif's presence in Tehran was quite necessary to observe the process of structural changes in the ministry.

There has been no plan for Zarif's visit to Davos, Qasemi added.

Reuters in an alleged report released on Monday had claimed that Zarif had cancelled visit to Davos.
