A number of various nomadic handicrafts has been showcased during an exhibition mounted in the Iranian capital of Tehran,Press TVhas reported.Many nomad artists and carpet weavers from 23 Iranian provinces have flocked to the exhibition to showcase their art works.
The 10-day event displays nomads clothes, hand-woven baskets, bags, rugs and carpets.
Nomads materials for weaving carpets and rugs are natural and provided by their own animals.
As the most beautiful oriental carpets in history, Persian carpets are famous for their intricately detailed design which is characteristic of all Iranian art.
Persian carpets have been inspired by geometric patterns and natural scenes of animal and plant wildlife.
