IRNA � Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif congratulated new Christian year (2018) to world Christians in a message on Saturday hoping that all would accept Christ�s global message of peace in the new year.


'The angles said, Mary, God gives you glad-tidings of a Word from Him whose name is Christ, Jesus, son of Mary; highly honored in this world and the next' Quran 3:45. A very happy and peaceful Christmas to all. May Christ universal message of peace be embraced in the coming year,' Zarif said in a Twitter message on the eve of the new Gregorian year.

He congratulated arrival of the new Christian year (2018), in his message.

Zarif wished happiness and peace for all in the Christmas feasts.
