IFP - Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Baqeri in separate messages on Saturday congratulated world military officials on Christmas and the beginning of the new Christian year.



In these congratulatory messages, General Baqeri said undoubtedly humanity�s return to the teachings of divine religions and holy prophets, next to the boosting of friendship, fraternity and interaction among all nations, will improve the peace and stability, and would lead the humanitarian community towards truth and justice.

According to a Farsi report by Fars News Agency, the Iranian commander also noted that the teachings of prophets would eradicate such elements as oppression, discrimination, injustice and terrorism which threaten security and salvation of societies and nations.

Baqeri further expressed regret over the US president�s decision on Jerusalem al-Quds and condemned the recognition of the first kiblah of Muslims as the capital of the occupying regime.

The Iranian top commander hoped that one day all Palestinians, including Muslims, Jews and Christians could live in peace next to each other based on justice.

General Baqeri also wished health and prosperity for his counterparts and the military forces in Christian countries.
