IRNA � The 5th Trilateral Meeting of foreign ministers Iran, Turkey and Republic of Azerbaijan started on Wednesday in Baku.

The meeting started with the attendance of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Azerbaijani and Turkish counterparts Elmar Mammadyarov and Mevlut Cavusoglu respectively.

The meeting aims to discuss wide range of issues and cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including economy, transit, transportation, energy, customs as well as avenues for promoting peace and stability in the region.

Zarif also held separate meetings with his Turkish and Azeri counterparts on issues of mutual interests.
