IRNA � Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Baku on Tuesday afternoon to attend the 5th trilateral meeting of foreign ministers of Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan Republic.

The meeting is to be held on Wednesday in the presence of Zarif, Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Republic Elmar Mammadyarov and Foreign Minister of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu.

A wide range of issues are to be discussed in the meeting such as transit, transportation, energy, customs and other issues of interest in the regional, technical and trade fields and regional cooperation.

Zarif is scheduled to meet President Ilham Aliyev and attend gathering of Iranian expatriates in Baku.

The three foreign ministers are to hold a press conference on Wednesday after their trilateral meeting.
