SHANA -- Lavan Refinery has launched a new sulfur unit increases the facility's production of the item by 30,000 tons per day.

According to the facility's public relations office, the plant has also launched a wastewater treatment unit in a bid to reduce the refinery's pollutants.

Launching of the new sulfur unit of the refinery added 30,000 tons/day of granular sulfur to the plant's production capacity of the item.
