MNA �Following negotiations initiated by Iranian foreign ministry, embassy to Ankara, and justice ministry four Iranian convicts were returned to Iran.

Four Iranian nationals trialed, sentenced and sent to jail in Turkey were extradited back to their home country.

The four prisoners are supposed to serve the remainder of their sentence in local jails.

Also the agreement includes the transfer of two Turkish nationals sentenced in Iran to serve the rest of their punishment in Turkey.

The transfer was conducted in line with the legal agreements signed by the two neighboring countries.
