MNA � Senator Ted Cruz has accused the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of being unable to verify Iran�s compliance under the JCPOA, calling for �forceful� measures to �improve� IAEA access.


Senator Ted Cruz in a tweet on Monday called on US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley to �lead in imposing forceful measures to improve IAEA access, reporting, and verification on Iran.�

He followed that tweet with another one in which he criticized the JCPOA�s inspection regime, saying �the IAEA lacks ability to verify nuclear aspect on Iran military sites because JCPOA inspection regime's designed to facilitate cheating.�

The US senator�s allegations against the landmark Iran nuclear deal come as the IAEA�s Chief Yukiya Amano in a Sunday visit to Iran confirmed the Islamic Republic�s full compliance with its nuclear-related commitments under the JCPOA.

In all of the eight reports published on Iran�s compliance, the IAEA inspectors have reported no issue with their verification effort.
