IRNA � Commercial Forum Iran-Niger opened in Niamey late on Thursday with the two countries� foreign ministers as well as economic delegations in attendance.

Iranian and Niger foreign ministers are to address the forum during its inaugural ceremony. Afterwards, head of Niger Chamber of Trade and Industry will deliver a speech at the gathering.

Deputy Head of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture Masoud Khansari is also among the speakers of the event.

Specialized meetings of the Iranian and Niger delegations will be held later.

Economic, trade and technological delegates comprise Director General of Export Development Bank Ali Saleh-Abadi, Head of University Jihad Khosro Mokhtari, Managing Director of Shipping Organization Mohammad Saeedi, Deputy Head of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture Masoud Khansari and Head of Rouyan Research Center Hamid Gourabi.

Meanwhile, representatives from Khuzestan Cement Company, Green Biotechnology, Shams Plast, Pars Mes Kangan and Holding Parsis producer of construction materials are also in the visiting delegation accompanying Zarif.

Zarif arrived in Niger on the last leg of his African tour which earlier took him to South Africa and Uganda respectively.

Upon arrival in Niamey Airport late on Thursday, he was welcomed by his Niger counterpart Ibrahim Yacouba.

Zarif is also scheduled to hold talks with the country�s high-ranking officials such as foreign minister.
