MNA � Labor Minister Rabiei, while noting that political issues were the main obstacle to deployment of workforce abroad, said reported on sending skilled labors overseas.


Iranian Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare Ali Rabiei made the remarks on the sidelines of a meeting with German industry owners. He touched upon the latest status of deploying Iranian workforce abroad saying �the process kicked off in 2014 though political issues prevented any major progress in this regard.�

�Iran has conducted direct and indirect negotiations on the issue with a number of countries like Australia, Korea, Qatar, the UAE and Canada,� he continued reminding the sending labors to foreign countries remains on agenda of the Iranian Ministry.

He maintained that a number of chefs were recently dent to Britain adding �we have also held talks with countries in which Iranians workforce has been always present. For instance, negotiations were conducted with Qatar on maintaining level of Iranian labors though political barriers caused some barriers to the process.�

Rabiei said at time when Iran�s relations had been cut off with the world, we were not able to succeed in deploying workforce. �It is completely unacceptable that in some cases, inability to establish verbal communication or lack in technical and professional skills has led to bitter experiences for Iranian workers turned into asylum seekers rather than workforce.�

Rabiei underscored that training and deployment of workforce needs to be organized and labors need to go through technical and vocational training.
