Iran in best condition of global consensus against US

IRNA -- Deputy Chief of Staff of the President for Political Affairs Hamid Aboutalebi in a message said Iran with its commitment to nuclear deal is in its best global consensus against US measures.

In his message released on Monday, Aboutalebi said a consensus is arriving as regard incompatibility with United Nations Resolution 2231 in West and in Iran and US on breaching nuclear deal also known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) which is a big question.

Meanwhile, through another message Aboutalebi noted that US President Donald Trump's claims on JCPOA are more important than the US Congress sanctions and JCPOA internal challenges since it makes situations more sensitive.

If Iran acts beyond its obligations stipulated in JCPOA, Trump will be determined to violate the deal undoubtedly, he added.

It means that implementation of the JCPOA and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) verifications are not important for US and the United States makes its decisions outside of JCPOA framework, Aboutalebi said.

Aboutalebi pointed to the fact that it is not the first time that beyond JCPOA equations, the US theatens Iran's deal and also in contravention to the UN resolution 2231, Washington turns out to be a statement.

In diplomatic arena, the global consensus regarding breach of JCPOA by US should be focused, Aboutalebi said.

He went on to say that the four years ahead are more challenging than the previous years.
