Iran equipped with modern technologies to detect cyber crime

July 10, The Iran Project Interpol Secretary General has stressed the high capabilities of Iranian Cyber Police, or FATA, saying Iran is equipped with the world latest equipment to discover cyber crime.

On the sidelines of visiting the capabilities of the Iranian police, Jurgen Stock referred to the significance of detecting and collecting evidence of crime in cyberspace, and said Iranian cyber crime experts are highly capable of using world-class equipment to detect crimes.

Touching upon the long-standing cooperation of Iranian Cyber Police with the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol), Stock highlighted Interpols plans to further interaction with FATA.

He also emphasized that Iran is ready to offer its cyber capabilities to other countries, announcing that 190 Interpol members are using the experience of the Iranian Cyber Police.

Meanwhile,Interpol Secretary General praised Iranian Cyber Police measure to prevent cyber crime by focusing on the countrys young people.

The 13th working group meeting of the International Police Organization (INTERPOL) under the framework of Project Kalkan kicked off in Tehran on Monday morning, focusing on tactics to fight off terrorism.

Counter-terrorism experts from 29 countries have attended the meeting in Tehran to discuss the ways to strengthen regional and international cooperation in the fight against foreign terrorist fighters (FTFs).
