President.ir- President of the Islamic Republic of Iran left Moscow late on Tuesday, heading for Tehran after an official two-day visit to Russia.

During his stay, Dr Rouhani met with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

He also received an honorary doctorate from Moscow State University and addressed the professors and students of the university.

The President also met with Iranian nationals residing in Russia.

In the visit, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation also signed 14 cooperation documents and memoranda of understanding.
