MNA� Iranian delegation arrived in Moscow on Tuesday to attend the third round of consultations on human rights between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation, due on Tuesday.


Headed by Zahra�Pishgahi Fard, the�Director General of Human Rights and Women Affairs at�Ministry of Foreign Affairs�of the Islamic Republic, Iranian delegation will discuss a wide range of issues on the international human rights agenda with Russian side.

Representatives of the two sides will negotiate their views on issues related to human rights at�bilateral and international levels, as well as promotion of cooperation in the international community.

The two countries have seriously criticized UN�s instrumental use of human rights and hold common views on the rights of minorities, families, religious tolerance and the fight against extremism.

The second round of�Russian-Iranian�human rights consultations was held in Tehran on December 21, 2015.
