IRNA � Foreign ambassadors and diplomats in Tehran on Wednesday offered condolences to Foreign Minister Mohammad- Javad Zarif on the demise of the late Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.

According to a report by Foreign Ministry Media Department, foreign diplomats, residing in Tehran, attended Foreign Ministry and condolened Foreign Minister Zarif on the demise of the late Ayatollah.

Ayatollah Rafsanjani passed away at the age of 82 on Sunday evening due to cardiac arrest caused by heart attack.
