Deadly bomb blast rocks Syria’s Rif Dimashq

Press TV- A car bomb has exploded in Syria’s southern province of Rif Dimashq, leaving four people dead and 10 more injured, amid a countrywide ceasefire.

The blast took place in the town of Beit Jinn, situated in the province’s southwest, on Sunday, Syria’s state TV reported.

Meanwhile, the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported severe clashes on the outskirts of capital Damascus, including the Eastern Ghouta region.

No group has claimed responsibility for the bombing, which comes despite a truce brokered by Russia and Turkey holding across Syria since late December.

The nationwide ceasefire excludes the Takfiri terrorist groups Daesh and Jabhat Fateh al-Sham.

Damascus and Russian officials have reported numerous ceasefire violations on the part of Takfiri militants in recent days.

On Saturday, a truck bomb went off in the northern Syrian city of A’zaz near the Turkish border, leaving 48 people dead and dozens more wounded.
