IRNA � Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi on Monday said that the Iranian government will adopt decisive actions against the breach of Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action (JCPOA) reached between Iran and the G5+1.

Speaking in his press briefing on Monday, he commented on the extension of the Iran Sanctions Act (ISA) by the US Congress.

Answering questions regarding the breach of the nuclear deal by the US government, he said the US President Barack Obama neither vetoed nor signed the ISA but let his Secretary of State John Kerry to finally issue the required orders.

Parts of the sanctions which contradicted the JCPOA were exempted, the official said.

'Both from practical and theoretical point of view, we are at the previous position,' he noted.

Qasemi said that approval of the ISA was against the nuclear deal and is considered as a breach of the JCPOA so Iran will adopt required measures in this regard.

The supervisory board on executing the JCPOA will adopt the necessary decisions and the current statues will continue, he added.

Qasemi said the future status of nuclear deal can be determined in a single session of the supervisory board on executing the JCPOA and many things will remain to be decided in future.

The supervisory board on executing the JCPOA has special committees each of which pursues potential breach of the nuclear deal in particular areas, he noted.

Qasemi said that the committees' work will be time-consuming, going on till the start of next government.

'I cannot predict Iran's final decision but I should say that the government will execute the final decision decisively,' he added.

The spokesman said the government will defend the establishment without embarrassment.
