US responsible for foreign trade problems with Iran: Slovenian CEO


6November 27, The Iran Project - The CEO of a Slovenian company 'Tevel' says US is responsible for the current banking problems of foreign countries with Iran, adding but we have been assured that there will be no obstacle in cooperating with Iran.


Speaking to a reporter on Sunday, Iztok Zivko, who travelled to Iran to attend Iran-Slovenia joint trade meeting, said that the represenratives of the three major banks, especially Slovenian largest bank, presented in the trade delegation send to Tehran indicated the saftey of trading with Iran.

The Slovenian CEO stated that the three banks of Nova Ljubljansk, Gorenjska, and SID negotiated with the officials of Central Bank of Iran (CBI) to develop the two countries banking relations.

The three Slovenian banks can support business owners by providing financial aids and gaurantees required, Zivko adde.

Iran-Slovenia tade meeting, attended by the Slovenia's president Borut Pahor, Iran's Energy Minister Hamid Chitchian, and the representatives of fifty Slovenian companies, was held in Iran's chamber of commerce last Tuesday.

In the meeting, the two countries' private sector reportedly signed three agreements.

Heading a high-ranking politico-economic delegation, Slovenian president arrived in Tehran last Monday to hold talks with Iranian senior officals.

During his visit to Tehran, Pahor was received by Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, and Iranian president Hasan Rouhani, as well.
