IRNA� Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif on Wednesday conferred with the Speaker of Romania's Chamber of Deputies Florin Iordache on issues of mutual interest and expansion of parliamentary cooperation.


In the meeting, the two sides reviewed expansion of mutual cooperation in political and economic fields.

Expansion of parliamentary cooperation and formation of parliamentary friendship groups and expansion of tourism industry were among topics discussed by the two sides.

Speaker of Romania's Chamber of Deputies, for his part said Romania can make use of Iran's experience in campaign against terrorism as well as in connection with immigrants and refugees.

They also exchanged views on regional developments mainly in Syria.

Zarif arrived in Romania on the second leg of his regional tour to Europe.
