Iran's university sends Persian language professor to Moscow

November 1, The Iran Project- Following amemorandum of cooperation signed between Irans Sa'adi Foundation and the University of Allameh Tabatabai, a Persian language professor was sent from the Iranian university to theMoscow StateUniversity for a period of three months.

Under a trilateral cooperation among Sa'adi Foundation, Allameh Tabatabaei University and Moscow State University of Linguistics, Maryam Shafaghi, assistant professor of Russian language at the University of Allameh Tabatabai was reportedly sent to Moscow for a period of three months to teach Persian language to Russian students.

In order to perform his teaching duties, Maryam Shafaghi is going to teach translating and Interpreting political and cultural texts from Persian to Russian to the Persian Language and Literature students of the Moscow State University of Linguistics.

Also, she was sent to Moscow to make relations between the professors of the Moscow State University of Linguistics, Institute of Asian and African countries affiliated with Moscow State University, and Russian State University of Humanities with the Iranian professors aiming at write and edit text books.

Furthermore, following the proposal of the Islamic Republic of Iran's cultural attache in Moscow, Shafaghi is responsible for equipping the library of the Iranian language and culture center.
