TEHRAN, Sept 14 (Shana) � Vice-President of Energy Committee of the Parliament Hossein Amiri Khamkani says Iran will be in list of high quality gasoline exporters by putting Persian Gulf Star Refinery into operation.

Khamkani told Shana that following operational of the refinery, Iran will get self-sufficient in production of gasoline for domestic consumption and following completion of the second and third phases of the project and other gasoline� production projects, Iran will joint the club of gasoline exporters.
He said Persian Gulf Star Refinery is the biggest gas condensate refinery in Persian Gulf and even Middle East, which can produce gasoline and gasoil in euro 4 standards.


He said high production capacity, high quality of the product and appropriate raw materials are among features of the project.


While producing gasoline, the refinery will in its incoming phases yield liquid gas, jet fuel and sulfur, he added.
