Rasht, Sept 10, IRNA � Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization underlined that Iran is seriously following up setting up a fact-finding committee to investigate Mina tragic incident which resulted in death of nearly 500 Iranians during last year�s Hajj rituals.


�If the fact-finding committee will be formed, many realities of this bitter tragedy which is unprecedented throughout history of Islam will be unveiled,� Saeed Ohadi said on Saturday.

The head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization pointed to the measures taken over last year to revive the rights of the oppressed martyrs of Mina incident, and said, �The responsibility of the legal follow-up of Mina tragedy is bestowed on the foreign ministry as per the approvals at the cabinet and the remarks by Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution (Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei).�

Ohadi said that 900 interviews with eyewitnesses have been conducted and translated into different languages.
