Managua, August 23, IRNA � Joint Iran-Nicaragua economic conference was held here on Tuesday at the presence of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and son of Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega.


The conference was held at Nicaragua�s presidential office and attended by a number of ministers and high-ranking officials of Nicaragua.

Over 80 managers of Iran�s governmental and private sectors as well as the entire members of Nicaraguan chamber of commerce attended the conference.

Foreign Minister Zarif will leave Nicaragua for Ecuador in the coming hours.
