Tehran, July 6, IRNA � Head of the Strategic Center of the Expediency Council Ali-Akbar Velayati on Wednesday predicted a bright future for the Islamic Ummah in light of unity and resistance.

Writing on his Instagram page on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr (marking the end of the fasting month of Ramadan), Velayati said that unfortunately Ramadan comes to an end while parts of the world are grappling with crises inflamed by extremist Takfiri terrorists.

Referring to recent terrorist attacks against 'the oppressed fasting Iraqi nation', he said that the blood of these people will not definitely be trampled upon and the enemies' plots in the region will go nowhere.
