Tehran, June 26, IRNA - President Hassan Rouhani on Saturday called for adopting measures by the government and private sector to help boost national production.


President Rouhani made the remarks in a fast breaking (Iftar) ceremony with the Iranian businessmen and entrepreneurs.

By increasing the national production, we can help improve employment and enhance Iran's pride and dignity in the world, Rouhani said.

He urged the private sector and entrepreneurs to boost non-oil exports and find sustainable international markets to sell their products.

The Business Environment Rankings index shows that Iran among 189 countries has improved its position from 152 to 118, the President said.

Rouhani also hailed stability in the country's currency exchange market as well as the achievement of a single-digit inflation rate by Iran.
