Tehran, May 5, IRNA � Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei underlined that the Islamic Republic of Iran has pioneered the confrontation with the ignorance current by taking model from the Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) designation as prophet by God.


'Today the most important duty of Muslim Ummah is confronting the stream of ignorance led by the US and the Islamic Republic of Iran as pioneer of Bethat (the appointment of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) to prophet of Islam is stepping in the path that late Imam Khomeini was its initiator is continuing the same path without any fear from the big powers,' Ayatollah Khamenei said, addressing a meeting with senior Iranian officials, Muslim countries' ambassadors in Tehran on Thursday.

The Supreme leader pointed to the fact that the two currents of Bethat and ignorance are still prevalent in today's world as it was in the early days of Islam, the Leader said that that Mabath (the day Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) was designated as prophet of Islam is the feast of celebrating rationalism, freedom, justice and obeying the God and the duties of the holy prophets which is directing the humans within the framework of the Gods' orders.

Ayatollah Khamenei pointed to the emergence of Bethat and ignorance at tow individual, social and international levels, and said, 'If the behavior of big powers at the international level be within the framework of the rationality as directed by prophets of the world throughout different eras, the world will be in a different form as compared to behaviors which lie within the framework of power-seeking and hatching plots.'

The Supreme Leader reiterated that undermining the nations beneath the boots of colonial powers is another example of blatant performance of ignorance current and by pointing to pillage of the resources of India as a result of tens of years of Britain's colonial rule, Ayatollah Khamenei went on to say that the wars and plots which are currently going on in Western Asia is the result of the performance of the ignorance and devilish front.

Ayatollah Khamenei underlined that the dominant Zionist current in the world is another blatant example of creating systems by devils, and said, 'The status quo of the world is the outcome of coming to power of the currents and political parties which are obeying this Zionist current that are influencing a government like the US and the coming to power of political currents and powers depends on obeying the Zionist current.'
