Visiting Swiss economic delegation made a visit to Irans SEO on Saturday discussing diverse investment opportunities in the Iranian market expressing optimism that the grounds for investments will expand in the country.
The group of business executives arrived in Tehran in coordination with Iran-Switzerland Chamber of Commerce aiming at becoming familiar with Irans capital market.
Swiss officials also met with the President Irans SEO Mohammad Fetanat gathering information on the structure of the Iranian capital market.
Saturday session was attended by CEOs and senior economic groups in areas of banking, capital market, transportation, agriculture and tourism.
The meeting analyzed legal norms of the capital market, technical and technological structures, knowhow of foreign investment and its processes as well as position of Irans market in the region.
Later, the participants questions on stocks, capital market fundamentals as well as how to enter the Iranian capital market.
The group of Switzerlands business executives voiced willingness towards foreign investors presence in Iran while top-ranking officials at Irans SEO described the current status of the capital market delineating the process for attracting new foreign investments in the Securities and Exchange Organization.
