TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran football team jumped to top spot in Group A of the AFC U-14 Girls� Regional Championship for the South and Central zone.





The Iranian team defeated Kyrgyzstan 2-0 with host Tajikistan defeated Bhutan 4-1 on Wednesday.

Roghayeh Jalal Nasab was on target for Iran twice in the 16th and 69th minutes.

Iran opened the campaign with a 3-0 victory over Tajikistan on Tuesday.

Iran will play Bhutan on Thursday.

The top two teams of each group will advance to the semi-final.
