TEHRAN, Apr. 26 (MNA) � Iranian documentarian Sam Kalantari�s 'He' reached the final section of 8th TRT Documentary Awards.


Produced by the Documentary and Experimental Film Center (DEFC), He (Original title:�Mannequins of Hassan Khan Castle) focuses on shop-window mannequins made in a factory in Qaleh Hassan Khan, a town between Tehran and Karaj.

He, along with 11 other documentary movies will compete to win three awards of international section of the 8th TRT Documentary Awards being held on May 12-16 in Istanbul.

The event will grant �10000 for the Best Documentary Film, �7500 and �5000 as the Special Jury Prize, to its winners.

TRT has been organizing its Documentary Awards since 2009. These Awards were organized to support amateur and professional documentary film-makers, as well as to contribute to the development and prevalence of the documentary film genre.
