TEHRAN, Apr. 03 (MNA) � Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in a message on Saturday congratulated Niger President Issoufou Mahamadou on his reelection as the country's new president.


Rouhani expressed hope the two countries would further improve mutual cooperation during Mahamadou's second term in office.

"I sincerely congratulate your reelection as the president of the Muslim and friendly country of Niger," the message reads.

President Rouhani expressed hope that mutual cooperation will further expand relations in the economic, political and cultural fields.

Rouhani also wished his Niger couterpart Mahamadou good health and success and for the honorable and Muslim nation happiness and prosperity.
