Tehran, March 29, IRNA � Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in a message congratulated liberation of historic site of Palmyra (Tadmur) to his Syrian counterpart Walid Muallem.


He congratulated Syrian foreing minister, people and government for liberation of the historical city of Palmyra from terrorists' hands.

'I believe Syria will continue to move in direction of maintaining unity and territorial integrity, fight against terrorism and progress in the political process, which is a firm obstacle in the way of growth of terrorism in the region,' Zarif said.

He wished final victory for Syrian armed forces, people and government of Syria over extremist terrorists and also wished welfare, security and tranquility for the Syrian nation.
