Tehran, March 6,�The Iran Project�� Labeling Hezbollah as terrorist group is a strategic mistake, a high ranking official at Iranian Armed Forces made remarks, stressing that Hezbollah has been Islam�s reputation and honor in past years.

According to IRGC Public Relations Department, Major General Hassan Firouzabadi, Chief of Staff of Iranian Armed Forces reacted to the Gulf Cooperation Council's (GCC) decision to list the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah as a terrorist organization.

Calling the council�s measure as a �strategic mistake�, General Firouzabadi highlighted the Lebanese force as the main cause for honor and reputation of Muslims in past years.

He also went on to say that Israeli regime�s withdrawal from southern part of Lebanon in 2000 and creating a impermeable defense shield against the Israeli aggression are the gifts Hezbollah, as an offspring of Lebanon, has presented to the this�nation.

Enumerating the different accomplishments of the resistance movement to not only the Lebanon nation but also the region�s countries, he reiterated that all-out resistance against the Israeli hostility, the struggle to unite the political factions of the country in order to protect the Lebanon�s national interests are the measures which have taken solely by Hezbollah.

Referring to the move by the Arab states of Persian Gulfs as an unconsidered and hasty decision which is contrary to the Muslim nations� interests, Firouzabadi told that this was undoubtedly taken in full compliance by Israelis and other Muslims enemies� order.

"Unlike the willing of Saudis and its regional and trans-regional allies, there will be no change�in the consolidated position of Hezbollah in the regional balance of power," he noted, adding that Israeli dream to stabilize security in the occupied territories will not be realized.
