TEHRAN (Tasnim) � Tractor Sazi of Iran routed Al Jazira of the United Arab Emirates 4-0 in Group C of the AFC Champions League on Wednesday.
In the match held in Tabriz�s Yadegar Emam Stadium, Bakhtiar Rahmani put the Iranian team in front after five minutes into the match.

Shojae Khalilzadeh made it 2-0 with a header.

The Iranians continued in the ascendancy after the interval with substitute Mehdi Sharifi adding a third nine minutes in and Rahmani netting his double as the hour-mark approached as Tractor Sazi moved to the summit of the standings following Pakhtakor and Al Hilal's 2-2 draw in Wednesday's other Group C encounter.

On Tuesday, Sepahan of Iran defeated Al Nasr of the United Arab Emirates 2-0 in Group A and Zob Ahan edged past Qatar Stars League champion Lekhwiya in Group B.
