Iran strongly condemns deadly terrorist attacks in France

Tehran, Nov 14, IRNA Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman on Saturday strongly condemned the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris that killed at least 100 people.

Hossein Jaber Ansari, in a statement, sympathized with the bereaved families of victims and the French nation and government on the sad occasion.

'Those terrorist groups that committed the Paris crimes do not believe in ethical principles and they are not loyal to any type of divine religions including Islam,' he added.

The official urged the international community to unite against spread of terrorism, adding that Iran is ready to cooperate with the international community in fight against terrorism and extremism.

France was rocked by multiple, near simultaneous attacks on entertainment sites around Paris yesterday evening that killed at least 100 people.

At least two explosions were heard near the Stade de France national stadium where a France-Germany friendly soccer match was being played, attended by President Francois Hollande.

After the attacks, Hollande declared a state of emergency and announced that he was closing the countrys borders.

ISIL terror group has reportedly claimed responsibility for the coordinated shootings and bombings across Paris.
