TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Countries Hossein Amir-Abdollahian left for Moscow to discuss issues of mutual interests as well as key regional and international matters with senior Russian officials.

He plans to discuss Yemen and Syria�s issues as well as fighting extremism and terrorism with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.

The two sides also discussed developments in Syria and Iran�s presence in Vienna conference on Syria in a phone call on Monday.

�Iran and Russia have taken the same stance on Syria and Russia stresses presence of Iran in Vienna meeting to help settlement of

Syrian crisis through political means,� Bogdanov said on the phone call.

The Iranian official said that it is Syrians who should decide the future of their country.
