TEHRAN, Nov. 08 (MNA) � Iran�s national futsal players could win over Paraguay to reach the finals of the 2015 Grand Prix de Futsal Cup, Brazil.


Playing at the semi-finals of the 2015 Grand Prix de Futsal Cup, Iranian futsal players met Paraguay on Saturday to achieve a much-needed victory.

Iran could advance to the finals of Grand Prix tournament by defeating Paraguay 2-nil while their rival in the finals will be determined by the result of Brazil versus Colombia.

Mehdi Javid and Ali Asghar Hassanzadeh scored two goals for Iran during the match.

The international tournament is underway in Uberaba, Brazil from November 4 to 8.

Iran has finished in second place twice out of nine editions.
