TEHRAN, Oct. 26 (Shana) � Governor General of the western province of Ilam Mohammad-Reza Morvarid said an Austrian company is considering investment in two oil and petrochemical projects in the province.

Following a meeting with a visiting delegation of Austrian financers, he said the firm is interested to invest 6 billion dollars in Dehloran petrochemical plant and Dehloran NGL oil refinery.

He did not introduce the foreign company but said due measures will be taken to sign the projects� contracts in one month.

Earlier, the official said the Russian firm Zarubej Neft is going to dispatch a delegation to carry out a field study on Ilam�s oil and gas fields.
Last summer, the Iranian province and the Russian company signed an MoU to develop bilateral relations.
