Tehran, Sept 27, IRNA - Iranian actress Homa Rousta has passed away in the American city of Los Angles Saturday evening after battling cancer for several years.

Born in 1946 in Tehran, Rousta graduated from the School of Dramatic Arts in Bucharest with a degree in theatre.
'Report on a Murder', 'The Little Bird of Happiness', ' Travelers' and 'From Karkheh to Rhine' are among her better-known works.
She was the widow of stage director Hamid Samandarian.
