Tehran, Sept 23, IRNA - Managing Director of Aviation Industries Organization Manouchehr Manteqi said on Wednesday that the Iranian delegation in Moscow held negotiations to lease two Russian 100-seat superjets.

During their visit to aviation exhibition at Max (air show) Exhibition in Moscow, the Iranian delegation conducted feasibility studies on the performance of Russian 100-seat superjet, Manteqi said.

He said that in case of successful performance of the superjets and satisfactory maintenance services under the lease term, the national civil aviation firm may decide to purchase them.

Designing and production of superjet have been supervised by world class companies in Britain, France, US and Switzerland and some 150 of them have been sold to global market, Manteqi said.
