Tehran, September 23, The Iran Project The Press Supervisory Board issued the official license for the The Iran Project news website.

A group of journalists and cyber-activists have launched The Iran Project news website since 2011 with the aim of gathering and disseminating news for English-speaking addressees, Seyed Ali Pour Tabatabaei, generaldirector of 'The Iran Project' told.

"We also distribute the news through social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter, and also you can follow us on Twitter with username @iran," Pour Tabatabei added.

Following the correct policy of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance to officialize the activities of the news websites, we asked for the official license this year, and after getting the permission of Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance for Press and Information, Dr. Hossein Entezami, Press Supervisory Board issued the accreditation to The Iran Project news website, he emphasized.

He reiterated that specialized news websites need experts support and consultation, and The Iran Project is ready to cooperate with all national and international English language media.
