Tehran, August 18, The Iran Project - A member of the executive committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization says� Iran will have an ambassador in�Palestine shortly.

Referring to his recent talks�with Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, Ahmed Majdalani,�a member of the�Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO)�said �Iran�s ambassador in Jordan�is likely to be a non-resident�ambassador in Palestine.�

Stressing on Palestinian officials� willingness to have strong ties with Iran, Majdalani said in the meeting with Iranian officials,�it was agreed to set up a �high-profile� joint committee to cooperate in political,�commercial and educational issues.

He also announced the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas�s planned visit to Iran within the next two months�in a bid to improve bilateral relations with the Islamic Republic.
