TEHRAN, Jul. 04 (MNA) � Historical objects dating back to 2,500 years ago were seized in Karaj, Alborz province.Security forces of IRGC Imam Hassan Mojtaba Unit of�Alborz Province�confiscated precious objects, estimated to be worth $1.2 million, from smugglers in the province.

Originated in Jiroft, Kerman province, the 2500-year-old artifacts were confiscated while the smugglers were transferring them to Alborz and then Tehran for sale.

Accordingly, the antique smuggling gang has sold Jiroft historical artifacts to the dealers and collectors in Tehran and Karaj at a high price during�last years.
